The DG Enterprise disseminates information on the GMES core service projects, which were submitted in the first Space call and are currently being negotiated. The core services and products foreseen from these projects are made available for GMES downstream services.

The EC recommends that the proposals to be submitted in the second call focus on building on the existing achievements of GMES, in particular Core Service geo-information provisions, taking full benefit of the products made available by the projects currently being launched.
